Terms and Conditions
Note: STRICTLY NO PRINTED VOUCHER, NO BOARDING.
Arrival Time & Check-in
- Passengers must arrive at least one (1) hour before departure to allow enough time for check-in and boarding.
- Late arrivals or Failure to Appear: Seats will be automatically released, and you will be considered a no-show if you fail to arrive on time.
- Identification Requirements
- A valid government-issued ID or student ID is required for all passengers. JAC Liner, Inc. reserves the right to refuse boarding to passengers without proper identification.
- Discounts for students, senior citizens, and PWDs will be validated by the bus attendant/conductor. If you fail to present the required ID, the discounted amount will be charged as an additional fare.
- Passengers must select the correct passenger type (e.g., regular, student, senior citizen, PWD) when booking.
- Failure to do so will result in automatic application of the regular fare, and any applicable discounts will not be honored upon check-in.
- PWDs – Valid PWD ID
- Senior Citizens – Valid Senior Citizen ID or any government-issued ID with date of birth
- Students – A physical and valid school ID for the current semester/school year
- Student discounts do not apply to dancing and driving schools, short term courses of seminar type, and post-graduate studies (those taking up medicine, law, masteral, doctoral degrees and the like) or foreign students not enrolled in the Philippines.
- Pet Policy
- For those who will be bringing their pets: Under LTFRB MC NO. 2019-019, Animals inside Public Utility Vehicles are allowed provided the following conditions are met:
- Pets must be put inside carriers/cages and placed at the designated animal compartment of the PUV, should there be other passengers inside the PUV.
- If there are no other passengers, pets may be allowed to be carried by the owner so long as said animals are free from foul odor and that he/she maintains cleanliness and sanitation taking into consideration the next riding passenger. Further, the possessor or pet owner shall be responsible for the damage that the pet may cause, including the cleaning and sanitation of the PUV, as may be necessary, and
- Safety, convenience and comfort of the passengers shall not in any way be sacrificed.
Nevertheless, the Company reserves the right to refuse any animal on board if, in its sole discretion, the safety or convenience of the passengers will be compromised.
- For those who will be bringing their pets: Under LTFRB MC NO. 2019-019, Animals inside Public Utility Vehicles are allowed provided the following conditions are met:
- Baggage Policy
- Each passenger is allowed one (1) baggage free of charge to be stowed in the bus compartment.
- Additional luggage stowed in the bus compartment may be subject to extra charges.
- The passenger can secure a baggage tag/s for all their luggage stored in the bus compartment from the BA/Conductor.
- Ticket Policies (Non-Refundable / Cancellation Policy)
- Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in cases where JAC Liner, Inc. cancels or modifies trips due to force majeure or other safety concerns.
- JAC Liner, Inc. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule trips without prior notice due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, affected passengers will be notified and given the option to either:
- Rebook their ticket to the next available trip at no additional cost, or
- Request a refund within 15 calendar days from the original trip date indicated on the ticket.
- Failure to rebook or claim a refund within the given period will result in the forfeiture of the fare.
- Tickets are strictly non-transferable. It cannot be transferred to another person.
- If a ticket is presented by someone other than the passenger named on it, JAC Liner, Inc. reserves the right to:
- Refuse boarding to the unauthorized person.
- Confiscate the ticket to prevent misuse.
- If an unauthorized person manages to use the ticket or obtain a refund, JAC Liner, Inc. shall not be held liable for any claims or damages resulting from its use.
- Rebooking Guidelines
- Rebooking requests (walk-in or online) must be made at least 24 hours before departure and are subject to a 10% service charge and subject to seat availability.
- Passengers are allowed to rebook only once, with the new desired travel date scheduled within 90 days (3 months) from the original departure date.
- Rebooking requests can be processed at JAC Liner terminals or you can manage it at JAC Liner, Inc. website.
- Any modifications to a confirmed booking (e.g., travel date, passenger details) will be treated as a rebooking request and will be subject to the applicable rebooking fees.
- Once the rebooking is confirmed, the prior seat will now be available and JAC Liner should not be liable for any action of the latter.
- Passengers must present their original booking confirmation at the origin terminal stated on the voucher.
- JAC Liner reserves the right to verify the printed booking confirmation to validate its authenticity.
- Rebooking is subject to a 10% rebooking fee based on the total fare.
- Additional payment processing fees apply if the booking was settled via PayPal, credit/debit card, or GCash.
- Rebooking requests will only be processed during office hours (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM). Requests must be submitted via the JAC Liner, Inc. website.
- Service Charges & Payment Processing Fees
- All service charges and payment processing fees for online reservations are non-refundable.
- Schedule Changes & Unforeseen Events
- Schedules may change without prior notice due to circumstances such as, but not limited to:
- Weather conditions in NCR and Region 4 (CALABARZON).
- Road conditions, holidays, maintenance, or security measures.
- In case of unforeseen events, all trips will be assumed operational unless an official cancellation notice is released.
- Rebooking requests due to events beyond passenger control (e.g., flight cancellations, flooding in certain areas) are subject to special approval.
- Requests must be submitted via email within 48 hours of the scheduled departure to jacgcares@gmail.com or if online to to info@jacliner.com.
- Approved rebookings must be used within 90 days from the original departure date.
- JAC Liner, Inc. reserves the right to cancel trips or change it’s time schedules and/or dates of departure without prior notice.
- Schedules may change without prior notice due to circumstances such as, but not limited to:
- Bus Maintenance & Mechanical Issues
- Our buses undergo regular preventive maintenance to ensure roadworthiness and passenger safety.
- In the event of a mechanical breakdown, a rescue unit may be deployed, which may be of a different bus type.
- If the replacement bus is of a lower class, the fare difference will be credited for future travel. Details on how to claim this credit will be provided by JAC Liner, Inc. customer service.
- Marinduque Passengers
- For passengers returning to Manila from Marinduque, please contact (0917) 522-5463 to arrange your pick-up point.
- Passenger Fare Policy (not applicable in P2P routes)
- Children 1 meter and below travel for free provided they are seated on their parent’s or guardian’s lap.
- Children between 1 to 1.30 meters in height are eligible for:
- 50% discount on non-airconditioned buses.
- 20% discount on airconditioned buses.
- Children over 1.3 meters in height are considered full-paying passengers but may avail of a 20% discount if they present a valid PWD ID or student ID for the current school year.
- Students with valid school IDs must select “Student” as the passenger type during booking to avail of the discounted fare. Failure to do so will result in the application of the regular fare.
- Applicable to P2P routes, any child who utilizes a seat even if less than 1 meter and not proven to be a student will be charged for the full fare.
- Bookings via Third-Party Platforms
- If you booked your ticket through a third-party website or platform, please contact their customer support for any booking concerns.
- Their rebooking, cancellation, and other policies may vary, so kindly refer to their terms and conditions.
- Consent by Proceeding
- By proceeding with the online booking, this signifies that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions herein. Furthermore, you agree that JAC reserves the right to amend, modify, and revise this terms and conditions without any need of prior notice and to be bound therein.
